South Slaw

A delicately fresh Indian turmeric coleslaw combining crunchy cabbage, vibrant carrots and plump raisins dressed in a turmeric and yoghurt frock, inspired by India's deep south.

Serves 4 portions

  • ½ white cabbage, shredded
  • 1 red onion, very finely sliced
  • 1 large carrot, grated
  • 50g raisins
  • 3 tbs mayonnaise
  • 200g whole greek yoghurt
  • 1 tbs cider vinegar vinegar
  • 3tbs extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp garam masala

Super simple coleslaw, take the shredded, sliced and grated ingredients and mix together thoroughly with the dressing. Taste for seasoning and levels of spice.
